Recording My New Song!

I have officially finished recording my upcoming single (the title will be revealed very soon!). The recording process took place over two distinct sessions. In the first, I laid down the main lead vocal, the driving melody of the track. The second session was dedicated entirely to building out the background layers and harmonies, weaving them together to create a rich, cinematic depth.
This was a demanding piece to record, pushing me to my limits both technically and emotionally. Lyrically, the song explores the ache of missing someone you truly believed was going to go the distance with you. To capture that specific vulnerability, the track features a lush piano and string arrangement, drawing inspiration from the sweeping, atmospheric sounds of JVKE’s "Golden Hour" and Joji’s "Glimpse of Us."
As a ballet dancer, it was vital to me that this music felt instinctual to move to. I wanted to create a piece that allows for a flawless interweaving of movement and sound, where the choreography and the lyrics tell the exact same story.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be in the studio with my producer finalizing the mix and master to get it ready for streaming. I am officially aiming for a late July release. This project holds a massive piece of my heart, and I think it’s a story a lot of you will deeply relate to.
I can't wait to share it with the world. Stay tuned for the title drop!
